Kansas Authors Club, District 6, elected new club officers at their January 26 meeting held at Hutchinson Community College's Student Union. The official team consists of Jim Potter, president; Phil Wood, vice-president; J. Alex Potter, secretary; and Kimberly Simmons, treasurer.

The Kansas Authors Club District 6 meeting on 1-26-19 was unique. Members and guests gathered at Hutchinson Community College Student Union, Alumni Room at 1:30. Because elections had not taken place in December, and because the previous president had transferred his membership to District 5, Jim Potter greeted the room full of 26 curious people. After explaining the circumstances, elections were held and for the first time in over a year the District 6 Kansas Authors Club had a full roster of enthusiastic officers! The results are:
Announcements were made and handouts provided for those present. The guest speaker was introduced. Gina Laiso, Printing Consultant for Mennonite Press, Newton, KS, presented an informative and inspiring program on the many questions that arise when considering self-publishing a book.
