The Kansas Authors Club is the oldest organization of publishing professionals and hobbyist writers in the state, established in 1904. District 6 covers part of Western Kansas from Ellis to Ellsworth and Smith to Barber. We are a diverse group of writers including poets, playwrights, novelists, and freelance writing professionals who are happy to welcome writers of all levels of experience, published or not.

CAT WEBLING, SEPT. 24TH, 1:30 PM ON ZOOM (CST)
CAT WEBLING, D6, AUTHOR, WRITER, POET, ACTRESS, IS OUR NEXT DISTRICT SPEAKER ON SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 24, during our monthly Kansas Authors Club meeting on Zoom, beginning at 1:30 PM (CST).
Webling will lead us in an important, valuable, but often ignored topic, “How to read poetry.” Cat comments: “We talk a lot in our meetings about what to write and how to write it, but we don’t often talk about what or how we’re reading.”
Cat’s also been invited to give us a promo for her very soon-to-be released book, For I Am Fearless: An Anthology of Poetry and Short Stories.
The meeting is free and open to the public.
