District 6 is proud to support Ginger Zyskowski in her announcement that her new poem, "White," is available to read now in Southern Arizona Press's anthology, The Wonders of Winter.
Southern Arizona Press is a veteran-owned business which aims to celebrate poets across the industry by uplifting their works to a wider audience without the barrier of pay-to-play publishing. This anthology is one of a series done to promote interesting, new, and exciting works, and features, "a collection of 120 poetic works celebrating the Wonders of Winter from 50 poets from across the globe." Several members of District 6 made appearances this weekend at an author event hosted by At The Market! in Wichita. This retail and development center hosts an annual event for the community which connects local authors to readers and each other with independent booths and readings throughout the day. This year's event featured eight authors including D6 members Jared Vaughn, Karis Ens, Melody Cole, Julie Stielstra, and Cat Webling.
